Day 10.
All you need is instant coffee, milk, sugar, and muscle.
Suddenly, Dalgona Coffee is all over the internet. People think it’s a Korean coffee drink but I heard it was originally invented in Macao. It’s basically a Cappucino turned on its head, with the frothy coffee on top and milk underneath. You can have it hot or cold but we found it tastier cold.
The recipe
- 2 tbsp instant coffee
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp warm water
- 400ml milk
- Whip coffee, sugar, and water until it’s light brown, fluffy and holds stiff peaks.
- Heat the milk for hot version, divide between two glasses. Spoon dollops of the frothed coffee mixture on top and smooth out with a spoon.
For a naughty version, add 1-2 tsp of coffee liqueur into the coffee mixture.
Honey, what’s for dinner?
