Day 11.
When it rains, look for a rainbow
When it is dark, look for stars
Entering second weekend of the lockdown, we’ve got such great weather. The “you can’t beat Wellington on a good day” weather. I bet everybody must have thought how nice to be able to lay down on the beach soaking all the sun or dip their feet into the sea. But we couldn’t. We’re on lockdown and unless your house in front of the beach, you can’t do beach walking.
Well, that’s what you’ll feel if you keep thinking how sad not to be able to go out and ‘have fun’. Instead, why not we take a step back and start to think “What needs to be done in the house?”
I have a pantry full of unknown sauces bottle from only-God-knows when I bought it.
I have a over filled wardrobe yet nothing I’d like to wear.
I have a pile of unread books on my bedside table with a layer of dust on the top.
There’s bread crumbs in my cutlery drawer.
Hey, where’s the pair for this socks, again?
Don’t even mention the weed in the gutter.
But, who has time for that? It’s nice weather outside and we should get the most of it. I don’t have extra time for that.
See? Think that this is THE extra time you’ve been mentioning again and again. Stop complaining and feel pity about you not being able to go out and start doing all the stuff you’ve been neglected to do these couple years.
Have a deep look on your pantry, sort your wardrobe, clean your kitchen, find that socks or throw it out.
One thing at a time. By the time you finish it, you’ll thank yourself. I promise you.
Honey, what’s for dinner?
Instant Supermi‘s bbq chicken noodle
